How To Use Twitter?

Following someone on twitter is extremely easy, and if you are looking for great ways to stay close with friends, relatives or even business relationships, Twitter is good place to go. They currently have over 500,000 members, so they aren't disappearing anytime soon.

Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?

Step 1
Open up a Twitter account by registering. Click the button that reads "Get Started - Join".

Step 2
On the registration screen, fill out the information and click the button labeled "I accept. Create my account".

You are now a twitter member.

Step 3
You should already be logged in after you register, however if you are not, click on the "Sign In" link and sign in with the username and password you just created. You should now be at YOUR twitter page.

You could type something in and hit enter, which is called "twitting", however since nobody is following you, no one will see it. You need to get people to follow you.

The best place to start is to start following existing members, and as a courtesy they usually follow you.

The status or message that you send for your follower called "tweet".

This is my profile where I use Mozilla Firefox add-on "Power Twitter". As you can see, there have RT application which means you can reTweet others' tweet.

Step 4
You can find people to follow one of two ways. You can invite your friends to join twitter, which is a good way to keep in touch with everybody, or you can click the link "public timeline". A list of active twitters will be displayed. Click on their username and then click the "Follow" button of the users you want to follow.
